FAQ Beginner’s Running Course

  • This course is designed specifically for people who think they “can’t run” or feel nervous about starting. We begin with short run/walk intervals and build gradually, with no pressure.

  • Each week we meet in a supportive group setting where we warm up, do a guided run/walk session, and finish with cool down stretches. Everything is at your pace, and no one is ever left behind.

  • That’s completely fine — and incredibly common! We pride ourselves on being inclusive. We stick together and support every runner, regardless of pace.

  • Strong, Safe & Steady is about what comes next. It focuses on building confidence, consistency, and mindset — helping you make running a long-term habit, not a stop-start struggle.

  • Yes! Whether you’ve just finished the beginner’s course or you’re returning after a break, this course meets you where you are and supports you to rebuild — without the pressure.

  • Each Monday you’ll get a weekly email with your plan, a mindset focus, confidence drill, and journal prompt. You can reply directly with questions, or join a weekly Zoom check-in if you like. You also have the option of attending a weekly group session in person.

  • No problem. Life’s busy — the course is designed with flexibility in mind. You can catch up at your own pace and still get the support you need.
