Running can have such an impact on people and communities, not only can it change people physically but we now know how much it can impact on people's mental health and outlook on life. Dame Kelly Holmes understands this all too well and she was truely inspirational at Lee on Solent parkrun on Saturday morning. She made sure that she high fived all 600+ runners and waited until the last runner came in, just like we do in RV.

Paul started running with RunVerity 18 months ago, his picture below shows what a difference running has made to Paul in a year. Not only has Paul lost weight but his whole demenure has changed, he is confident, upright and proud. Paul has run lots of races in the last year and completed the GSR in October which I know whas a specific goal for him.
