Team RunVerity

RunVerity members were scattered far and wide this weekend, lots of tourist parkrunners trying out different parkruns in the Hampshire area, we had runners at Lee, Fareham, Whiteley, Eastleigh, Southsea and then on Sunday a couple of firsts for RV members who tried out the Great Run 5k in Portsmouth as well as RV juniors enjoying the new junior parkrun in Alver Valley.

We had RV representatives at the Needles XC half, it looked extremely hilly, at the D-Day 10k in Portsmouth which is extremely flat and then a good representation of runners at the Women's Running 10k Series in Southampton.

Two RV runners achieved their first 10k in the hour at the Women's Running race which of course means a bottle of fizz so congratulations to them and it was a big success for a couple of RV runners who completed their first 10k on this course.

The latest beginner's and inbetweener's course finishes tomorrow so we will be celebrating with a drink in The Elm Tree pub after the final session and can't wait to get started on the next course on the 27th June.
