A quieter Bank Holiday Weekend

There was a good turn out at the local parkruns this weekend and lots of training runs on Sunday so a lot quieter Bank Holiday weekend after last weeks epic running.  Lots of RV members recovering and resting and after so many PB's last week it was important that they did.

As part of my CPD I was really looking forward to the Female Coaching Network conference that took place on Saturday 29th April.  The conference was being delivered by FCN and Project 500, both organisations trying to address the imbalance between male and female coaches.  The day did not disappoint, we heard from inspiration female coach's Karen Brown who coached the England Hockey Team to Gold in Rio as well as Lois Fidler who is a UEFA Pro license Coach.

Finally on Bank Holiday Monday itself, I ran the Milton Keynes half marathon in aid of the MK Gallery which is undergoing a huge re-rubishment at the moment.  It was a great run with an amazing finish in the MK Doms Stadium
